Art Practice
Artist Statement
My work explores story, memory and connection to Country through photography and mixed media. I often layer images, textures and found materials to reflect the way memory and history live together across time.
As a Noongar/Yamatji woman, my practice is grounded in respect for culture, community and the knowledge shared by Elders. Through portraiture, storytelling and collaborative projects, I seek to honour lived experience and the strength carried through generations.
My work invites reflection — creating space for truth, resilience and hope.
Acknowledgment to Country
We acknowledge that we live and work on beautiful Boorloo. We extend our respect and gratitude to the Traditional Custodians, the Wadjuk Noongar people and pay respect to past, present and emerging Elders.
